Effective October 22, 2026. This page covers simulationinstruments.com, Simulation Instrument Studio, Simulation Panel, and the store.

Simulation Instruments is the trade name. The legal entity is Zimfusion. Contact is info@simulationinstruments.com.

What the free apps do

Studio and Panel run on your computer. You do not need an account to run an instrument you already have. The apps read simulator data and, if you use the US cycle, the FAA files you chose to download. Those files stay on your machine. We do not receive your flight path, panel layout, or instrument source.

Store account

A store account is an email and a password. It is how a purchase is licensed. We keep the email, the purchase, and the license so the instrument or cycle can be unwrapped again. We do not store card numbers. Stripe handles the card. Their privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Community uploads

If you upload a package, we store the package and the author name from its info.xml. The package is published so others can download it. Do not put a private email or a real name in the package if you do not want it shown.

The site

The site uses the cookies WordPress needs to stay logged in and to remember a form. We do not sell personal information. We do not run an advertising network. Server logs may hold an IP address and a page request for the usual period the host keeps them.

What we do not do

We do not use the simulator connection to collect personal data. The US cycle is public FAA data, rebuilt and installed by the app. It is not a record of where you flew. The products are for a flight simulator. They are not for real aircraft.

How long we keep it

A store account and its licenses stay until you ask us to delete them. A purchase record is kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. A community package stays until you ask us to take it down, or until we remove it.

Your request

Email info@simulationinstruments.com to see what we hold for your account, to correct it, or to delete the account. A deleted account cannot unwrap a paid instrument. We may keep the sale record.

Children

The site and the apps are not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
